Dr Jonathan Wilkin - Jonathan leads Food Innovation @ Abertay. He is a Lecturer within the Division of Food & Drink, School of Science, Engineering & Technology and has previously worked with SME's on a range of different problems. His main skills are in processing parameters, new product development, consumer testing and food safety and quality. Jonathan is the main day-to-day contact for our companies and has managed a wide variety of food and drink related projects for businesses, large and small.
FIA can also call upon the expertise of a number of other university staff who have a wide range of knowledge and skills in relation to food and drink manufacturing. The research ranges from biotechnology to food processing techniques, consumer and sensory analysis and marketing.
